Delta Epsilon Mu’s Alpha Iota Chapter has partnered with many organizations over the years, including:

Blueprints for Pangea ◇

Blueprints for Pangea ◇

Our chapter has partnered with Blueprints for Pangea, an organization dedicated to sorting, packaging, and distributing unused medical supplies from areas where they are in excess to regions in need. This experience has given our members an appreciation for recycling excess medical supplies and giving back to the global health community.

Ann Arbor Public Schools ◇

Ann Arbor Public Schools ◇

Our members volunteer with Ann Arbor Public Schools to inform prospective pre-health students about diverse potential careers in healthcare. Through immersive health panels and Q&A sessions, students have the opportunity to interact with DEM members to expand their knowledge and comfort with varied pre-health tracks, both at the University of Michigan and across the nation more broadly.

The Hope Clinic ◇

The Hope Clinic ◇

The Hope Clinic is a free clinic located in Ypsilanti that provides a number of services including medical care, dental care, and food support to residents in Washtenaw County. Every month, our members help stock the food pantry and prepare hot meals for residents. This experience has given our members an opportunity to support underserved communities in the local area.

North Star Reach ◇

North Star Reach ◇

We are proud to partner with our local philanthropy organization, North Star Reach (NSR). NSR is an organization that offers a free, fully-accessible summer camp experience for children with medical challenges. We support this organization by volunteering at their year-round events and fundraising for them throughout the year.

Ronald McDonald House Charities ◇

Ronald McDonald House Charities ◇

Ronald McDonald House Charities aim to keep children and their families together while seeking medical care far from home. Every month, our members prepare and serve meals to residents at the RMHC of Ann Arbor. Volunteering with this organization has shown our members the importance of the presence of a loved one during a family crisis.

World Medical Relief ◇

World Medical Relief ◇

Our members volunteer locally at World Medical Relief (WMR) several times throughout the semester. While at the WMR warehouse, we sort and distribute unused medical supplies to be sent to places around the globe in need of them. This experience has given our members an appreciation for recycling excess medical supplies.

Camp Dragonfly ◇

Camp Dragonfly ◇

Our national philanthropy, Camp Dragonfly, is a camp specialized towards children who are fighting a lifelong battle against diseases. With Camp Dragonfly, we hope to aid in the help of those with Autism, Down Syndrome, Sickle Cell Disease, and more. Nationally, Delta Epsilon Mu has a strong connection with this organization by fundraising for them and volunteering as counselors, interns, unit leaders, and more.
